Orthotics are supportive devices used for any body part to align a joint, assist with weak muscles, and control movements which are excessive. A well designed orthotic should both stabilize and encourage better mobility. This allows your child to participate in a wider range of experiences, and have more success in their activities. Ultimately, the goal for your child is to achieve more independence in their lives. for your child to have more control over their lives.

Orthotics can facilitate greater range of motion, improve balance and coordination, prevent or correct deformity and improve function.

Head and Neck Supports

Head/Neck supports come in many different styles and sizes depending on what type of support is needed. Neck supports can be used to give greater stability to the child allowing them to have better positioning and comfort, while still allowing the child to strengthen their neck muscles and turn their heads to visually engage with their environment. Head supports range from full protective helmets to low profile, halo styled protective wear. We will evaluate, measure, and fit the most appropriate Head/Neck support to assist in keeping your child safe and comfortable.
