Bathroom Equipment

Pediatric positioning and mobility equipment is our specialty and our passion.

Once a child outgrows a commercially sold infant/toddler bathtub insert, there are several options to assist with bathing and toileting your child. Whether you and your family are looking for a simple positioning device to place in the bathtub, or your child has grown to the point where transfers are becoming increasingly difficult, we are here to help.

We will work with you to select bathroom equipment that fits both your child’s specific needs and your bathroom setup.

Bath Lift Chairs

Power lift bathchairs allow for easy transfer into the tub. The waterproof design of this electric lift makes it easy to lower your child into the bathtub, while giving him or a her a reclined sitting support. This option is designed for situations where the caregiver is unable to lower a child into the tub without power assistance.

Bath Chairs

Bathing and transfer systems are available in multiple sizes, accommodating children once they outgrow a commercially sold bath system. The bath chair itself can be placed directly on the floor of the bathtub or raised with a tub transfer base. The tub transfer base is separate from the chair, designed to rotate 90 degrees for improved transfers into and out of the tub. In addition, there is an option to have a shower stand for walk-in showers, making this a portable shower chair.

Shower and Toileting Chairs

The hygiene and toileting system is designed for versatility. It can be mounted directly to the toilet, rolled over the toilet, or used independently with a commode pan. Due to its design, the Rifton HTS (pictured) can be utilized as a shower chair in a zero-entry shower. There are several postural supports available to accommodate your child’s positioning needs. With the help of our trained professional staff, we can help you select a toileting or bathing system to meet your child’s needs.
